Facebook To Launch ExpressWiFi Hotspot in Lagos

Facebook believes that Internet Access is a fundamental human right in the society as a whole, and honestly, they're doing everything to prove that.

 Word has it, they're partnering with Cool Link (A Nigerian ISP and System Integrator based in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt), to provide ExpressWiFi Hotspots in Nigeria after the successful provision of the free basic internet launched months ago, which allows you to access some sites for free with the Airtel Network.

ExpressWiFi is a Facebook initiative that gives mobile device owners in merited communities access to fast and affordable internet service through partnerships with local internet service providers.
With ExpressWiFi, you'll be able to browse the sites on free basics for free, but if you want to go the extra mile, you'll be charged N40 for 100MB upto N1600 for 5GB monthly.

You can see from the table above that it offers one of the cheapest data plans so far. Sadly, this service will only be available in Lagos.. So if you live in Lagos, you can sign-up for a free 14 day trial which gives 100MB daily.
